June Vacation, Part 3: Mom & Dad's Lake Home

Our next leg of the vacation was spent at my parents' home on the lake. A little more than a year ago, Mom and Dad sold the house I grew up in, and retired to a beautiful lake home--they are loving it there! My sister and her family were also visiting that week, and my brother Stephen and his family live only a few hours away from Mom and Dad, so all the cousins sure had a great time playing together! This will be my longest post in my vacation series--I won't do much more writing, but I have a lot of pictures to share from this week! =)

Cousin AJ worn out after a day of playing and boating.

 Helping Grandpa clean fish.

Cousin JN showing off the fish he caught!

 Campfire, and making S'mores!

Zach playing trains with cousin SK--although he didn't really want to share!

Because of a comment my nephew JN had made about my dad needing to grow out his hair, Dad hadn't cut his hair since the last time he'd seen JN--at least a couple of months! So one night, Dad got out the razor and let all the grandkids have a turn cutting his mop off. They had a good time--and there was a lot of hair on the floor when they were finished!

Mom and Dad have a beautiful view out their front window--and God sent this rainbow after a storm that came through. Amazing!

Grandpa reading bedtime stories to the grandkids in the camper.

Mom and Dad have a resident "Thumper" they like to feed. Zach was in love!

Aunt Sheila snuggling a sleepy Zach.

JN catching yet another fish--he was quite the fisherman that week!

The littlest cousin, CF, with a messy face--what a cutie!

Grandma got out the bubbles...Toby had to "shoot" them all. ;)

Cousin SB showing Toby, Zach, and SK how big a bubble can be!

Uncle Stephen playing with the kiddos. They were "stomping" on his feet. ;)

Watch out, fellow boaters...Toby's got the wheel! =P

Next stop, visiting more friends and family...coming soon!
