Hotter 'N Hell Hundred...

Dan and I bought road bikes last fall, and Dan especially has been loving riding. He's done several rides around our local area, but the ride he's been talking about for the last year has been the Hotter 'N Hell Hundred in Wichita Falls, Texas. And just in case you are wondering about the title of the ride, it is indeed quite accurate--100 miles in the extreme Southern heat! When Dan crossed the finish line, the temperature was 104 degrees Farenheit, with not a cloud in the sky! Although I enjoy riding bike too, I cannot fathom 100 miles in one day, especially in the heat--I am so proud of Dan for this accomplishment! Here are a few pictures from that day:
