Since before he started walking, Toby has been fascinated with balls, and most of his free time has always revolved around him playing one sport or another. Basketball, baseball, football, hockey, soccer...Toby has not yet met a sport he doesn't like. So, when we found out Toby was old enough to play in the Under-age 6 soccer league this fall, we didn't hesitate to sign him up! When filling out the paperwork to enroll Toby, Dan also signed up to help out and be assistant coach...and was surprised a few weeks later to find out he is the HEAD coach for Toby's team!
Zach loves sports too, and wants to do anything his big brother does. He may be two years younger than anyone on Toby's team, but during practices Zach runs around and kicks the ball with the rest of them. It's been a fun season, and this Saturday will be Toby's final game already--the last six weeks have gone by so fast! Here are a few snapshots I took of Toby's first practice, followed by his first game. He loves playing soccer, and is so proud to be on a team with other kids his age.
